Research associate, NRRI

Andrew Bramburger (Ph.D. Environmental Science) is a Research Associate at the Natural Resources Research Institute, University of Minnesota Duluth.

His primary research interests are related to the relative influence of multiple stressors on algal communities and the use of algae as indicators of impacts to aquatic ecosystems. Andrew and his colleagues examine both modern and fossil algal communities in order to better understand how mechanisms associated with anthropogenic disturbance and climate change impact the bottom of the aquatic food web.
