Miki Hondzo

Professor, College of Science and Engineering, SAFL

Miki Hondzo and his group have been studying the effects of fluid motion on the physiology of organisms in aquatic ecosystems under laboratory and field conditions.

The objective of their research is to develop a mechanistic understanding of organism metabolism, aggregation, interaction, and dispersion in streams, rivers, lakes, and deltas.

Their work facilitates predictive modeling of process-based environmental restoration and optimal biofuel production by microscopic algae.
